Music Minister: Phillip Rowell

Phillip began serving as our Worship Director in August 2019. He uses his gifts, abilities, and experience to lead us in worshiping the Lord through music. Phillip prayerfully designs and constructs our Order of Worship for these services with the view of pleasing and honoring our Heavenly Father. He understands that we are worshipers while God Himself is the audience. His passion for music radiate as he leads worship each week. The sole purpose of Worship Ministry, is to bring honor and glory to God through offerings of praise through music. One of the simplest yet deepest truths about us is that we have been created to worship. The greatest truth about God, who exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, is that He alone is worthy of our worship. With a background of over ten years in teaching, singing, and church music. He aims to lead the congregation of Sterling by leading in gospel-centered worship. He strives to lead congregational worship in which God’s people to celebrate Christ together. Phillip and his wife Ashley are blessed with two children: Joshua and Lonnie. He enjoys music, reading, travelling, and anything he can do with his family.
